Child & Adult Care Facility Inspections
In cooperation with the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services, Environmental Health staff conduct inspections at adult foster care facilities, child care facilities, youth camps, and foster homes. These facilities are required by law to be licensed. Facilities are inspected to ensure sanitary conditions and safety.
MDHHS Inspection Fees
Partial Inspection (Facility Interior Only – Municipal Water/Sewer): $275
Full Inspection (Facility Interior, Existing Sewage and Water System, Water Testing Fees): $450
Plan Review: $315
Follow-up Fee: $150
